Volunteer Opportunities
You Can Make a Difference...Join the Care Net Volunteer Team
Every day, Care Net is reaching out to help women and men in Dane County facing an unplanned pregnancy or sexual health concern—and we would love to partner with you! Below is a list of volunteer opportunities. For a PDF version click here.
Administrative Support:
- Administrative Assistant—help with computer, organizational, & administrative tasks

Grant Writer—assist in research & writing of grants
- Church Liason—Connect your church with Care Net
- Event Planning Assistant—help coordinate fundraising events such as the Baby Bottle Campaign, Annual Banquet, & Golf Event
- Hospitality Specialist – provide refreshments or decorate/set up for tours and other events
- Store Specialist—organize & maintain incentive store for clients & residents
Client Support:
- Receptionist – handle direct calls & welcome clients
- Careline Consultant—answer client calls from your home when the center is closed
- Client Consultant—provide Option & Life counseling to those who come to Care Net
- Male Consultant—offer support to men who accompany women visiting Care Net
- Latino Translator—meet with Latino clients who come to Care Net
Medical Support:
- Doctor, Nurse, Sonographer, Midwife—assist clients in our medical clinic
- Medical Presenter—present STI and pregnancy information in schools
The Elizabeth House Support:
- Respite Worker—provide breaks for TEH staff
- Infant/Child care—provide child care for participants of Care Net and The Elizabeth House programs
- Meal Specialist—meal organization & food prep for single mothers support group
Facility Support:
- Domestic Helper—assist with cleaning the facility
- Building & Grounds Assistant - assist with upkeep of building and grounds
- Certified electricians, plumbers, HVAC – Donate these professional skilled services to support Care Net
Spiritual Support:
- Prayer Partner—provide daily prayer coverage for the entire ministry
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, here’s how to get started:
1. Meet these basic qualifications:
- Committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior & Lord
- Sincere desire to reach out with the love of Jesus to people in distress
- Strong commitment & dedication to pro-life position
- Faithfully involved in church fellowship
- Ability to respect & keep information confidential
- Dependable
- Agreement with Statement of Principles, Statement of Faith & Center Policies
- Completion of volunteer training & orientation
